It was a luxury experience. Everything was superb from the very good service to the good food. The view from my king room was absolutely superb. The hotel was in the best possible location, perfect to come back to after a day out sightseeing. Truly enjoyed that it was set very close to the cliffs, HG and Bonifacio, and an ancient sheltered harbour nestled between Roman ruins.

Generous breakfasts, the stay was really comfortable!
our standard king room was cheap, with an exceptionally comfortable bed. the view over the marina too it had was fabulous. the hotel was in an awesome location very close to surrounding ramparts and the island.

The hotel is perfectly situated near numerous restaurants and attractions, allowing me to enjoy good strolls to the eglise saint-croix which is just less than a 5-minute walk away and the fine bonifacio citadel about 500 meters away, making my weekend adventure nice.

Wonderful hotel with fabulous view of the harbor, NICE restaurant. Marvellous and stunning location, minutes from Eglise Saint Jean Baptiste, loved this place. A wide range of food options at a medium distance from the venue.

I had a fantastic time with great food options, especially the delicious pasta! The spa area was lovely, with a relaxing massage and a heated pool to unwind. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't ruin my overall experience. 😊

Perfect location, private parking onside, harbour view
To access the hotel you have to go down several steps and there is nobody to help you with your luggage

The hotel (cote village) is really beautiful and the view up there amazing.
I found it expensive for a 3 stars and what it offers. In addition, breakfast at 20 euros is far too much.

relaxing stay with views but some service lapses
The location was really good with lovely views of the sea. Our room was generously sized and comfortable, offering good facilities. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a highlight, with a lovely selection to enjoy each morning.
Service could be more attentive at times .

The room was comparatively big. Our balcony had a very nice view to the harbour (as advertised).
Our double bed was too small. Somehow, the hotel could not provide extra blankets.

The view of the harbor was glorious and our room was modern. The location was marvellous, on the port below! We went out for dinner, found L'auberge Corse, it was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel.

The Double Room with Harbor View was a slice of paradise! We reveled in the magnificent sunrises while sipping on our morning coffee and digging into fresh, local salads at breakfast-each bite bursting with Corsican flair. Not to mention the friendly vibe in the bar area during happy hour, definitely a pre-dinner highlight!

Location-wise, it was excellent.
Overpriced for the type of hotel it claims to be.

We liked the hotel aesthetics - the materials, the design, the attention to detail. Although our room was not large, we appreciated the quality of the furnishings, the patio with its view of the harbor, and great bath products. Staff were friendly, helpful, and responsive to requests. The location was terrific - staying in Haute Ville is definitely where you want to be in Bonifacio. The location allows you to spend the evening (no driving in the dark!) in the old quarter, which is so charming and convenient to restaurants and shops and yet a short drive to glorious beaches and other activities during the day.
The price of breakfast is excessive and a deterrent to eating there in the morning. However, I found that to be true in most hotels on our trip so it is not unique to Hotel Genovese.
